Rick Andrew was born and raised in Portland, OR, in the USA. It was there that he began to feel a call to take the Gospel to people of other nations. In 1997 he moved to Japan, where he taught English and served in a local church in the Tokyo area. In 1999 he moved to Utica, NY and joined the pastoral team at Redeemer Church, a multi-campus church in upstate New York. He served there as a teaching pastor and as the pastor of their International Campus, directing the church’s ministry to immigrants and refugees. His wife, Clarissa, is from Brazil. She was also serving in the ministry when Rick met her there on a mission trip. They have been married for twelve years and have two children, Sophia and David. In the fall of 2014 they accepted the call to move to England and serve the International Community Church in Surrey.
