ICC in Transition
Dear ICC Family,
Transitions are never easy. Whether we are going to a new school, a new job or moving to a new country, the transitions can be challenging and stressful. Even in the midst of great joy there are still unknowns that cause us concern.
ICC is in the midst of a transition as well. One tangible transition is the move to our new offices. After 10 years in Oxshott, the new office will be located in Addlestone. We encourage you to stop by soon and see us - you are always welcome.
But there are other transitions as well. With Chris' departure and Michelle's upcoming departure, many are asking ‘What is next?' Please know and remember this foundational truth: "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." Hebrews 13:8 While many thing change all around us, we can remain confident of God's unchanging, stable, foundational love and grace in our lives. I celebrate that and invite you to join me weekly in worshipping our faithful God!
ICC will continue to pursue our mission statement: "Everyone Mature in Christ" (Colossians 1:28) We will continue to worship and preach and do outreach. We will continue to study the Bible and support our missionaries. We will continue to pray and trust that God still has bigger and more amazing plans for our congregation. I believe that with all my heart. I invite you to join me in faithfully trusting God to carry us through our transition into a new and fruitful land.
Please do not ever hesitate to let me know how I can pray for you, encourage you and/or support you on your journey toward maturity in Christ!
Blessings,
Barry
